The Perfect Patriot – Scene Grab

ThePerfectPatriotCoverpngThe agent hesitated, stopped and began the aggressive movement required to spin and bring up a right elbow to the head of this attacker. Even below layers of clothing and protective body armor, Lance saw the first twitch of muscle movement, the series of motions necessary to complete this attack. He could name every muscle, every tendon, every bone involved in the movement. And because he could see it all, he stepped to the left and brought up his own elbow to batter the man’s upper right arm as it came swinging up. He followed with a left elbow to the base of the man’s skull, a blow that disoriented and caused a collapse to knees and then to the floor.

Lance bent and flipped the guy over onto his back and dropped to cover and smother any further action.

The Perfect Patriot – Book number 5 in the Lance Priest/Preacher Series.
