The US Department of Agriculture has compiled an excellent and informative collection of information on security and espionage. Spent an hour or so reviewing dozens of pages with information about spying, what to look for in others, how to tell if you have been targeted or how you will get caught.
The page on Spy Stories lists 18 incidents and devious culprits who spied on America and American businesses. The piece on Robert Lipka was extra informative — I was not aware that there is no statue of limitations on espionage. Lipka was arrested and imprisoned three decades after he spied on the NSA for the Soviets.
The USDA evidently pulled together information originally prepared by the DOD. Amazing that a resource as informative as this is posted and hosted by the USDA. But then again, food and crops and farming are indeed vital to the nation.
